I just made it from my bed to the fridge and back to my bed without any of my house guests seeing me.

The criticism of Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan is moot.
My friends and I were discussing this very thing tonight over dinner.
First of all, Khan’s character is TONS of years in the future.
Who says a guy who looks like Benedict does can’t be a dude with a traditionally Indian name?
I know someone with the last name ‘Ramirez’ who is whiter than white, and we’re not 2,000 years ahead of time.
Could they have picked someone of ethnic descent as Khan and why didn’t they?
They could have, but they didn’t.
Maybe because of the element of surprise, and it was a really good element of fucking surprise.
Also, Cumberbatch is an awesome actor.
I’ve seen friends’ criticisms of the film, and even those who didn’t like it said Benedict’s performance was the redeeming part of the movie.
The message is, fuck the haters.
